De eerste besjes van de rode bessenstruik worden ook al zichtbaar.
Daar moet binnenkort echt al wel een net over. Als ik dan toch bezig ga met een net, dan maar gelijk over het kersenboompje. Ik heb nieuw net gekocht, heel fijnmazig. In ons oude huis had ik nog van dat zwarte net, met mazen waar achteraf ontdekt regelmatig vogels in vast zaten. Dat wil ik niet weer. Maar ik ben ook weer niet zo'n vogelvriend dat zij mijn oogst mogen hebben.
Vandaag is het Hemelvaartdag. Ik ben wel blij met deze dag rust. Afgelopen dagen drukke dagen gehad.
Dinsdagmorgen een haakochtend voor vrouwen. De eerste van een serie van 4 ochtenden. Daarom was het extra spannend. Vanuit onze kerk willen we activiteiten organiseren waarin we elkaar kunnen ontmoeten, en God in elkaar. De opkomst van de eerste ochtend was niet groot. Wel hadden we goede ontmoetingen met elkaar en bleken we veel gemeen te hebben; een samengesteld gezin.
Dinsdagmiddag gewerkt. De koersbalvereniging begeleid. Onverwachts ook woensdagmorgen gewerkt. Er was een kerkdienst in het teken van Hemelvaartdag. Ook heb ik er een gedicht voorgelezen. Het gedicht was geen eigen keuze, maar ik kon me er wel in vinden.
Gistermiddag heb ik ook gewerkt en ook dat was ongewoon voor mij. Meestal staat een van mijn collega's op de woensdagmiddag ingeroosterd. Op woensdagmiddag staat er steevast een zangmiddag op het programma. Nou moet je weten dat ik geregeld te horen krijg dat ik niet kan zingen. Ik weet alleen nooit op hoeveel waarde ik hun woorden moet schatten, maar ook al hebben ze er vermoedelijk ook weinig verstand van, maakt het me toch onzeker. Bij het inzetten gaat dus steevast de microfoon uit! Ik hoop dat ik dit dan wel compenseer in hoe ik de liederen aan elkaar praat of oogcontakt zoek. Playbacken kan ik ondertussen ook als de beste!
Tussen de ochtenddienst en de middagdienst heb ik meestal een te lange pauze. Die heb gebruikt om thuis gauw een pan macaroni te maken. 's avonds moest er iemand vroeg weer weg. 's Avonds was er huiskring bij ons thuis. Gisteravond was ik er de enigste vrouw. Met alleen mannen, die overigens ook niet allemaal even zuiver zingen, is het als enige vrouw ook moeilijk zingen. Dus zo af en toe ook stiekem wat geplaybackt. Niet echt dan, maar wel zo zachtjes gezongen dat ik niet aangewezen kon worden als degene met de verkeerde toonhoogte. Pas rond een uur of 11 lagen we in bed.
Vandaag zijn niet alle kinderen thuis. We maken dus dankbaar gebruik van de rust, want ook manlief had drukke dagen gehad. Veel bedrijven proberen dan toch zoveel mogelijk het werk van 5 dagen in 3 dagen te proppen. In ieder geval toch zoveel mogelijk.
Bij het avondeten waren we met zijn drieën. Gezellig buiten gegeten. Morgen weer wat klusjes en enkele bezoekjes afleggen.
